The latest software update for the iCOMBAT Engine (ICE) and Barracks is coming April 14th. Read on to learn about the new features, improvements, and changes. Several major changes are being implemented with this update, so we recommend all operators be fully prepared.

Update Notes:

Barracks – 2.05

• Player Timeline – added notification service that will email or SMS players when a friend makes a reservation
• Player Timeline – improved performance
• Player Timeline – added session summary results (replaces achievement lists and past reservations content items)
• Player Timeline – added “Player Joined” sections
• Player Timeline – added navigation links to all achievements
• Player Timeline – approving a friend on the timeline will now refresh content automatically
• Player Timeline – will now display match history
• Player Timeline – added friend link to match screen
• Friends – deleting a pending friend will now refresh pending friend list automatically
• Achievements – added 1,000,000 score achievement
• Managers now have the ability to change a player’s email address (as long as they have played at that facility)
• Managers now have the ability to change a player’s password (as long as they have played at that facility)
• Operational dashboard – drastically improved performance
• Operational dashboard – added win/loss delta (lower is better)
• Player account set up will now show more descriptive username errors

ICE – 4.01.09

• Launcher – a log in is now required! This allows information from your armory, etc to be stored and backed up in our cloud server for free. It will help our support team and also allow restoration of your settings after a vital crash. You can sign up for a FREE account on barracks.icombat.com.
• Launcher – redesigned to support log-ins and the latest news
• Launcher – offline mode will continue to function as it normally does within a 15-day grace period
• Target Games – fixed various bugs
• Equipment Updater – support to switch magtech reader states from Kiosk or ICE modes
• Equipment Updater – improved verbiage when updating legacy Barracudas and Eagle Eyes
• Equipment Assignment – refresh will now bring in players that have replaced membership cards
• Armory – equipment will now be stored in the cloud, which allows the same armory to be active across multiple computers
• Bandoleer – software update available to support syncing to irHeadbands, Barracudas, and Eagle Eyes
• Barracuda / Eagle Eye – updated version available for improved Hero Blast support
• Barracuda / Eagle Eye – update to support syncing of Bandoleer and irHeadband
